YouTube TV announced Monday that it is expanding its partnership with internet service provider Frontier and will launch a single billing option enabling Frontier customers to bundle a YouTube TV subscription with Frontier’s fiber internet service on one bill.
The new arrangement marks the expansion of a cooperative effort that started between the two companies in 2021, giving customers access to fiber internet and a live TV streaming service. But until now, that arrangement required paying separate monthly bills for each service.
Under the new arrangement, Frontier’s Fiber optic subscribers will have a more convenient payment method.
With the announcement, Frontier said its fiber internet customers will now get $10 off the $72.99 per month YouTube TV subscription for one year, while existing Frontier subscribers will receive $15 off.

When Frontier filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2021 it discontinued its own pay-TV service. The YouTube TV arrangement gives Frontier’s ISP customers an easier option for a TV service replacement.
“Our partnership with YouTube TV makes it easier for customers to ditch cable,” stated John Harrobin, Frontier’s Executive Vice President of Consumer, in announcing the arrangement. “We take our position as the un-cable provider seriously and are constantly listening to consumers. Many want one source for internet and TV, and that’s what this partnership is all about.”
Frontier is a telco-based ISP with territories in 25 states. YouTube TV has similar arrangements with other ISP including Verizon. YouTube TV currently has more than 5 million month-to-month subscribers and trialers in the United States.
