
Roku and Walmart are expanding their footprint for Roku TVs marketed under Walmart’s private label “onn.” brand to Canada, the companies announced Wednesday.
Starting this month, Walmart Canada is introducing onn. brand Roku TV models for first time, sold exclusively in-store and online at Walmart.
Products will be available in time for Father’s Day the onn. As with onn. branded Roku products offered in the U.S., the onn. Roku TV models are offered at “affordable price points to Walmart Canada customers” with Roku TV prices starting at $328.
Screen sizes will range from 24 to 75 inches, with native screen resolution options including HD, FHD or 4K UHD quality. The smart TV sets are backed with a two-year warranty.
Walmart pointed out that its onn. brand store also includes tablets, monitors and various tech devices, all at affordable price points.

All will of course include the popularly simple to use Roku smart TV OS, that is highly intunitive, functional and provides access to more than 150,000 movies and TV episodes from thousands of free and paid streaming channels. Roku said the OS is Canada’s No. 1 TV streaming platform, based on hours streamed as traced by the Hypothesis Group.
Among the selections is Roku’s own The Roku Channel that is loaded with ad-supported classic programs, movies and original content available to stream for free.
The OS, which receives frequent automatic firmware updates with new features and capabilities, supports third-party AI voice assistant devices.
