ViewSonic is now offering its X2000B-4K ultra-short throw 4K DLP laser home theater projector, with HDR support and built-in sound.
The ViewSonic X2000B-4K, which is available now for $2,899.99 estimated street retail, incorporates high-speed Wi-Fi to wirelessly connect with a home network and stream videos and movies from compatible mobile devices.
The projector lists native 4K Ultra HD resolution and 2000 ANSI lumens of brightness. It is said to utilize “the latest laser phosphor technology” with a rated life expectance of 20,000 hours of use.

The projector includes Bluetooth connectivity for use with devices such as wireless soundbars and Bluetooth headsets.
The X2000B-4K has a 0.22 ultra-short throw lens allowing the projector to be placed just inches from a wall or screen to present up to a 100-inch screen size with excellent picture quality.
The projector can be placed on a media stand or mounted to the ceiling, and set-up is said to be quick and simple using flexible four-corner adjustment and 60-point warping correction.
Sound is handled with built-in dual 50-watt Harman Kardon customized speakers, with Dolby and DTS support providing 5.1-channel surround sound.
ViewSonic said the projector will support high dynamic range (HDR) content based on either HDR 10 or HLG profiles.
The X2000B-4K will cover the BT.709 standard color gamut using ViewSonic’s exclusive Cinema SuperColor technology.
Inputs include: HDMI 2.0 Type A port; HDMI-ARC output; 3.5mm Audio Out; Audio-out (HDMI;
Wifi (5Gn), Bluetooth Audio-in(1 (BT4.2)), Bluetooth Audio-out(1 (BT4.2)).
