
Today Sony, Samsung, Sharp and LG are drastically dropping the price of their respective 4K UHDTVs models. These TVs offer four times the resolution (3840 x 2160) of an HDTV. The Sony, LG, Sharp and Samsung deals began today November 17th. Seiki prices drop begin on Thanksgiving . All the details are revealed after the break.
Samsung dropped the price of its flagship LED LCD models the Samsung UN55F9000 to just $2997.99. This top-of-the-line debuted at $6000 making the price 50% off. This 55-inch 4K model offer every feature in the company’s long list, including built-in Skype HD camera, cable box control, voice and gesture control, guide information, LED edge lighting with micro dimming and more. The 65-inch version, the Samsung UN65F9000
drops $500 to $4497.99 originally priced at $7500 for a 40% drop off the cost when it debuted this past summer.

Sony
Dropped its price today Sunday 11/17/13 through 12/28/13 on its two 55-inch and two 65-inch 4K TVs. The Sony XBR55X850A is now $2998, down from $3499 while the 65-inch version know as the Sony XBR65X850A
is now $4498.00. The 55-inch with built-in large side speakers called the Sony XBR-55X900A
is a 55-inch 4K TV.
Sony’s is also offering its 4K Media Player Bundle for $200 off at $498 when purchased with the TV.
Sony’s top of the line 65-inch Sony XBR-65X900A 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD 120Hz 3D LED UHDTV (Black)retails for $7000, was $5500 but is now $4998.00. There is also a bundle deal for its $700 Sony FX1 4K Media Player for free when ordered with the 4K TV. See the details here

Sharp just lowered the price of its 70-inch 4K THX Certified UHDTV from $6000 to $4997.99. The Sharp LC-70UD1U 70-Inch Aquos 4K Ultra HD 120Hz Smart LED TV retails for $9000 making this a 44% off deal. No telling how long this promotional price will hold.
Seiki
Seikei’s line of 4K TVs are far more basic than the Samsung, Sharp LG or Sony’s. They lack any Smart TV streaming, Skype video cameras, gesture control or voice control found on the Samsungs and others above, as well as the sophisticated SD and HD upconversion. However, for native 4K sources which right now are YouTube and PC video games with the appropriate streamers or gaming PCs, they do offer 4K viewing up to 30 fps.
The 39-inch Seiki Digital SE39UY04 39-Inch 4K Ultra HD 120Hz LED TV that was selling for $699.99 dropped to $519.99 on Amazon today and will be at $499.99 at Sears on Thanksgiving (and maybe Amazon) .
The 50-inch Seiki Digital SE50UY04 50-Inch 4K UHD 120Hz LED HDTV currently sells for $1220.69 on Amazon, but will drop to just $749.99 at Sears on Thanksgiving and possibly Amazon.
The 55-inch Seiki 4K SE55UY04 is a Sears exclusive and debuts at just $849.99 on Thanksgiving.
