A Sony X850D Series 4K Ultra HD TV

Sony is celebrating Father’s Day with a number of promotions on televisions and Blu-ray Disc players, in addition to releasing its recently announced UHP-1 premium audio/video player.

Sony is running a Father’s Day promotion between June 12th-25th offering instant rebate savings on some of its popular TV and Blu-ray Disc models.

Sony is slashing regular pricing on 2016 XBR X850D Series 4K Ultra HD LED LCD TV models for a limited time to the prices below starting June 12th:

2016 XBR-55X850D – was $1,399.99 on special for $1,298.99.

2016 XBR-65X850D – was $2,199.99 on special for $1,998.99.

2016 XBR-75X850D – was $3,799.99 on special for $3,498.99.

The X850D series models are all from the 2016 line and have edge-lit LED panel lighting with frame dimming, 4K HDR resolution with support for HDR-10 metadata; Triluminos Display; 4K X1 Processor; Motionflow XR 960; 10-bit panel; Android TV with Google Cast and a silver accented thin-bezel design.

2015 XBR-55X810C – was $999.99 on special for $898.99.

The XBR-55X810C is a 2015 model that is being discontinued and will be replaced by the forthcoming XBR-55X700.
