Sony Breaks The Sound Barrier With New SRS-XV900 Bluetooth Party Speaker
Sony Electronics introduced Tuesday its SRS-XV900 Bluetooth party speaker billed as the loudest model in the wireless speaker X-series range.
The Sony SRS-XV900 is positioned as a wireless speaker for music lovers who like to crank up the volume on their favorite tunes. At the same time, the company said the output is presented in clear and rich sound suitable for connection to a TV or a chain of compatible Bluetooth speakers.
The SRS-XV900 is a three-way sound system made for parties with omnidirectional audio. The dedicated drivers are said to enable clear mid-range vocal clarity, while the X-Balanced speaker system reduce low-end distortion. The listening experience is further embellished with programmable ambient light output designed to set the mood fro an all-in-one portable package.
Long lasting battery life for long-uninterrupted take-anywhere convenience, the SRS-XV900 offers up to 25-hour battery life per charge and a further three hours of playing time after a quick 10-minute recharge.
With the Battery Care Mode feature, users never have to worry about overcharging their speaker, making it dependable for longer, Sony said.
The easy totability, the SRS-XV900 has built-in wheels and a handle.
Furthermore, TV Sound Booster connectivity allows enhancing the output of a TV’s sound by bringing deep bass and realistic high-frequency sound to help fill the room. Simply connect the optical cable (included) and select TV Sound Booster mode with any TV brand or model.
For added value, the omnidirectional party lights & karaoke function enables the SRS-XV900 speaker to take center stage for sign-along nights. For karaoke use, a mic plug is supplied along with a guitar input so musicians can use the speaker as an amp to strum and sing at the same time.
The Fiestable mobile app and its new Double Tracking karaoke function enables signing and more comfortable levels.
The speaker’s functions are easily controlled with an intuitive top-touch panel.
The speakers MEGA BASS feature will dial up the bottom end with deep and punchy bass, while the LIVE SOUND mode recreate a live sound atmosphere for appropriate content.
The speaker is designed to easily connect and pair with mobile devices and other Bluetooth sources. Sony said it will connect with up to 100 compatible Sony Bluetooth speakers for synchronized sound and lighting at very large events.
The speaker allows offers USB connectivity to access song files or even charge up a connected mobile phone.
The SRS-XV900 will quickly pair with a mobile device using Bluetooth fast pairing for Android.
The Sony SRS-V900 is compatible with both Sony Music Center and Fiestable apps.
The SRS-XV900 speaker is available for pre-order now at an $898.99 suggested retail price. It will hit authorized Sony retailers Oct. 1, 2022, the company said.
