Skyworth To Kickoff Global Expansion At CES 2020
China-based TV manufacturer and marketer Skyworth will be staging a pre-CES press conference to announce the global expansion launch of the Skyworth TV and appliance brand.
The company said it has made a significant investment aimed at expanding its TV business by formally entering the U.S. and Canadian markets in 2020. At the event, the company will be introducing its key corporate officers as well as new Skyworth USA sales and marketing senior VP John Homlish and his marketing team. Homlish is a longtime industry veteran with past sales and marketing experience in the United States for the Sony, Casio, Samsung, Sharp and Haier companies.
The Skyworth press conference will take place Jan. 5th at 4:30 pm PCT in the Cosmopolitan Hotel, Belmont Ballroom 4, fourth floor.
According the company’s mission statement for its expansion: Skyworth USA “plans to attract a more discerning customer base by leveraging its core competency as a top-tier television manufacturer with its branded line of OLED TVs and fully featured 4K UHD Android TVs.”
As a pre-launch effort, several of the largest electronics retailers in the USA and Canada introduced Skyworth 4K UHD Android TVs on their sales floors in the fourth quarter of 2019. These initial partners included: PC Richard & Son stores based in N.Y. and The Brick stores of Canada.
The company claims to have the No. 1 brand share position for premium television sales in its domestic China market, and the No. 5 “premium TV” brand globally.
Skyworth’s complete line of new OLED TVs and LCD TVs, which will include a significant assortment of large-screen offerings, will be on display at the upcoming CES 2020 in Las Vegas (Jan. 7-10th) in South Hall 1 booth #20206. In addition to presenting advanced display technologies, Skyworth will be showcasing its platforms for IoT and artificial intelligence (AI) connected home technologies that will leverage its smart TV platforms.
During the event, Skyworth will reveal two new advanced smart TV models and will use the show to demonstrate its “innovative approach to combining IoT with AI,” the company said. Skyworth said integrated product development plan revolves around an “intelligent ecosystem of interconnected devices and home appliances.”
