Premium audio brand Sineaptic launched its inaugural product Friday in the SE-1 wireless ribbon headphones, touting the company’s vision of delivering innovative high-performance audio experiences for a bargain.
The Sineaptic SE-1 is expected to be the first in a line of premium audio products targeted at early adopters of the what the company calls “revolutionary audio” experiences and unusual technologies available at “disruptive” value prices.
The Sineaptic headphones are available now priced at $199, exclusively on the Sineaptic website. They feature BT 5.2 with LE Bluetooth wireless audio connectivity.
The SE-1 incorporates what is billed as “the world’s first mass-produced ribbon driver featuring a dual array design.” The Los Angeles-based company said the implementation produces an “unrivaled sonic response and true-to-life sound reproduction.”
Explaining the concept, Sineaptic said the SE-1 ribbon driver remains independently and internally powered, like desktop speakers. It produces a wide and immersive soundstage that replicates two-channel audio.
In addition to presenting “a true full frequency soundstage” the SE-1s are “lighter and more capable than previous ribbon speaker designs while providing a more technical sound signature utilizing a wider diaphragm surface area for greater sonic response.”

In developing the technology application, the company said it conducted extensive research into diaphragm thickness and placement to reproduce optimal sound.
