Updated! Samsung unveiled pricing and features on its new SUHD TV model series last week, but said nothing about lower-priced UHD tiers planned for 2016.

(This story was updated with additional information on availability and adds the KU6300 Series.)

Industry sources today revealed to HD Guru the pricing and features for Samsung’s step-down 4K Ultra HDTVs that support high dynamic range (HDR) in the KU7500, KU7000,  KU6500 and KU6300 serie.s. All are said to offer “HDR premium” support as defined by Consumer Technology Association (CTA), meaning essentially that the TVs will read HDR metadata and display it to the maximum capability of the TV, which was not specified in spec. sheets. Logically, this will be a lower-performance level than the HDR performance on the SUHD series models.

Also not specified was percentage of DCI P3 wide color gamut coverage, and whether the sets include 10-bit or 8-bit panels.

Availability on many models is expected soon and a handful are available now. Samsung also has a number of derivative model series with similar but not exact model numbers for limited distribution. These will be very close to what is reflected in the series covered here.

Learn all the details after the break.
