Yesterday, on board the USS Intrepid Museum, Samsung announced its entry into the giant screen HDTV category with its 2012 UN75ES9000, the industry’s first 75-Inch LED LCD screen. Samsung adds new top-of-the-line-features to this flagship model. The UN75ES9000 is also the most expensive 2012 TV Samsung offers to date, with a retail price of $9999. More information after the break.

A very thin curved bezel measuring .31-inches
Built-in pop-up Camera and microphones
Built-in Skype Video via the integrated HD camera and microphones
Face recognition
Gesture Control
Voice control
Wireless Audio va Bluetooth
Slim cabinet
Edge Mounted LEDs with Dimming Feature
The highest rated Samsung contrast ratio to date
Upgradeable hardware for future apps via Samsung’s Smart Evolution Kit

Samsung also offers active full HD 3D and Internet streaming movies via Netflix and other providers (so does Sharp in select giant screen models ).
Samsung revealed the UN75ES9000 will be available to consumers next month. Samsung also announced a free “Angry Birds” game app for all of its 7500 series and up LEDs and 8000 series plasmas will become available at the end of the month.
At the end the event, Samsung disclosed app developers can now receive its latest software development kit (SDK) to permit the integration of gesture, camera and voice control into future 3rd party applications. I have a 2011 model 73″ Mitsu for $999.
SUPER satisfied. I would not buy anything if it has the same size for 10 times as much. The picture is barely any better. (Yes I’ve seen planty led,lcd plasma tv’s)
I know most of you can and will say stuff about dlp. All i can tell you that I had a few people over at my house to see the TV. They were amazed. 2 of them bought this tv already.
Delivery Free what a joke, if you were spending that kind of money you should have extra for delivery and or setup. I agree samsung is over rated. As far as the 90″ sharp dude really a sharp the only sharp I would ever think about would be the Elite. 90″ sharp man I sware ppl.
Edge Mounted LEDs with Dimming Feature = Big Fail.
does the price include delivery? It’s a “little big” for the car I drive. How do I get this up the service elevator to my apartment? I home warrantee offered I hope. On 2nd though, I’ll spend the bucks on that Sony headgear thingy.
If I had a bigger living room, I’d go for the 90″ Sharp, rather than this 75″. Size does matter. :-D ..but I need to buy a bigger house first.
Well, i would not buy it,because it only worth 5 thousand dollars, these new samsung tvs for 2012 not solid built the voice control do not work good or go try them yourself at your local realtor.
