Samsung continued to release pricing on its 2022 line of Neo QLED LED-LCD TVs in dribs and drabs, this time posting to its web site prices on two new 4K model series – the QN85B and the QN90B.

As previously reported here, Samsung released pricing on its 2022 step-down QN800B 8K Neo QLED series. This has now been joined by two of the company’s step-up 4K Neo QLED series for 2022. All are available or pre-order now on the Samsung website.

All of the Neo QLED models are based on Samsung’s full-array with local dimming Mini-LED backlight technology, first introduced by the company in 2021. The technology offers thousands of tiny LEDs capable of producing images with greater zone lighting control for deeper black and brighter peak highlights especially in High Dynamic Range (HDR) content. Wide color gamut and 100% color volume are presented with the help of quantum dot color enhancement film.

Supported high dynamic range (HDR) profiles include HDR10, Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) and HDR10+.

Both series also incorporate the company’s Tizen v.7 OS platform with enhanced personalization and expanded smart features. This also includes the Ultra HD Alliance’s Filmmaker Mode bringing auto picture settings optimization for film-based content. The OS provides voice control support from the Bixby, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant platforms.
