Samsung Electronics announced Wednesday it is stepping up its game on cloud streaming for 2022 and now even some 2021 TV models, bringing new streaming partnerships and bundle offers to let users experience more game titles and options.
To start, the company said game streaming features and offers now will be coming to select Samsung 2021 TV models and 4K, “further delivering on its promise of bringing the future of gaming to consumers.”
Game streaming services Antstream Arcade and Blacknut will be joining Samsung stable of game streaming offerings on supported Samsung TV models. Launching in 2023, both Antstream and Blacknut cloud gaming will become available to owners of select 2021, 2022 and 2023 Samsung TVs, Samsung said.
Antstream Arcade is billed as “the world’s largest cloud gaming service that provides players access to over 1,500 iconic games and weekly new multiplayer challenges and tournaments.”
This will give owners of the supported Samsung smart TV models the ability to do battle with their friends and the global community with popular game titles from the 80s, 90s and 00s. This ranges “from Pac-Man to Mortal Kombat and Metal Slug, on select Samsung Smart TVs.”

Meanwhile, the subscription-based Blacknut Cloud Gaming service will also bring access to a growing list of 500+ premium PC and console games. The company claims to offer “the largest unlimited access to gaming content for TV screens.”
This includes “click and play” experiences for up to five players to compete simultaneously on any compatible smartphone, PC or smart TV.
Blacknut’s library focuses on Core and Casual family members. Titles range from classic AAA games, indie favorites, story-driven adventures, strategy and also the largest collection of racing and sports games. Blacknut members will find such hits as, Metro Exodus, Overcooked and a library of popular Disney games.
“Blacknut is now bringing the largest Cloud Gaming catalog included in one subscription to Samsung, the number one game streaming destination,” stated Nabil Laredj, Blacknut business development & licensing VP. “We designed Blacknut as a family gaming platform including five player profiles that can play simultaneously. Bringing our service to Samsung devices allows more gamers to experience the future of gaming.”
At the same time, Samsung announced it is bringing Holiday Bundles to help make it easier to play favoriite Xbox Games through TVs running the Samsung Gaming Hub.
The company said that until Dec. 31, 2022, purchasers of 2022 Samsung TV series models: QN85B, QN90B, QN95B, QN800B, QN850B, QN900B or S95B, will be able to get an Xbox controller and thee months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate included with their new TV.
Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) with Xbox GamePass lets players stream hundreds of high-quality Xbox games directly on select 2022 Samsung Smart TV’s through Samsung Gaming Hub with no console required. The included controller means you can get straight into Cloud Gaming at its best, as soon as you bring your new TV home.
Purchasers of a new Samsung Q60B or Q80B TV are also eligible to receive three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate included, the company said.
Samsung further added that owners of certain 2021 Samsung smart TV models will be updated between now and the end of the year with access to game streaming through individual apps from game streaming partners Xbox, Amazon Luna, NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Utomik. In addition, Blacknut and Antstream Arcade will be coming in 2023.
The full gaming Hub experience will be available on Samsung 2021 smart TV models including: 98QN90A, 32Q60A and all sizes of the Q70A and AU8000 series. In addition, individual partner game apps will be available across all models launched in 2021, the company said.
“By expanding the game streaming experience to select 2021 Samsung Smart TVs, existing Samsung customers will now have instant access to the same games available through the Samsung Gaming Hub on 2022 Smart TVs and Monitors,” the company said.
“When Samsung Gaming Hub rolled out earlier this year on 2022 TV models, the number one question we received was ‘when is game streaming coming to my 2021 TV?’ Today we’re happy to share with our eager fans that they’ll be able to play the games they love before the end of the year,” said Mike Lucero.
In addition to expanding its cloud gaming partners and integrating all 2021 models with cloud gaming capabilities, Samsung is bundling a free XBOX gaming controller and three months of XBOX Game Pass Ultimate for the following models throughout the end of the year:
