With Samsung’s 2014 HDTVs due to start shipping in March, many are wondering, “How much will they cost?” We’ve tapped our sources to obtain prices for Samsung’s popular mid-line models, along with details on screen sizes and features.
Our list contains the suggested retail price as well as Samsung’s UPP (Unilateral Pricing Policy) price for the new sets. The UPP is the minimum price that all authorized Samsung dealers can sell the company’s TVs for.
Typically, when a new model first comes out, the UPP is the lowest price you’ll be able to find for it, though you can expect Samsung to run factory-authorized sales via instant rebates to stimulate sales volume for specific models later in the year.
The higher end HDTV and UHDTV will be released to dealers a few weeks after today’s listed models. We plan to publish their prices when they become available.
