Rotel Unveils S14 High Performance Integrated Network Music Streamer
High-performance Japanese Hi-Fi audio components manufacturer Rotel introduced Friday, its S14 Integrated Network Streamer for streaming online music easily and in very high quality.
Rotel said the S14 Streamer was designed for high value and tonal performance rendered through a 32-bit ESS Sabre digital-to-analog converter, feeding high current output transistors powered by an oversized toroidal transformer, delivering precision and control.
The company said the product maintains its mission to “bring music to life without compromise.”
The Rotel S14 can stream music directly from popular streaming services including Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, as well as Podcasts and thousands of Internet Radio stations.
The device supports Apple’s AirPlay 2 and Google Cast formats for additional connection options.
It is also equipped with analog coaxial and digital optical ports, and supports aptX decoding for wireless pathways, ensuring use with HD Bluetooth, analog RCA and PC-USB connected sources.
The all-in-one product streams music directly from popular music services, rendering the audio with precision, delivering 150 Watts of Class AB power at 4 Ohms directly to loudspeakers via 5-way binding posts and a front panel headphone connection, the company said.
The Rotel S14 also comes with a newly engineered aluminum remote control for easy use in a design-forward package.
Support for both wired and dual-band wireless network connections provides high flexibility of use and installation. The unit’s front panel display presents full color album artwork and includes title, track, and artist information from the selected audio streaming service.
The Rotel S14, which carries a $2,499.99 suggested retail price, will be available in the United States through authorized Rotel dealers in a choice of black and silver finishes. Shipments in the U.S. begin this month and will follow shortly thereafter to the rest of the world.
