Roku Kicks Off Holidays With Pricing Specials, Including Streaming Stick+
Anyone planning to give a new Roku streaming media adapter has a gift for the upcoming holidays will be happy to know that the company will be offering limited-time pricing specials on select models in time for the traditional holiday shopping mania period.
Included in the offers will be the popular new Roku Streaming Stick+ bringing 4K Ultra HD resolution with HDR10 high dynamic range support for those app services offering the advanced picture quality content.
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time, Nov. 22nd, the Roku Streaming Stick+, which regularly retails for $69.99, will be available for $49.99 through Nov. 27th, at 2:59 a.m. Eastern.
The offer will be available through retailers across the country for the Black Friday weekend, Roku said.

Other Black Friday weekend specials are being offered for the Roku Express+, which is available exclusively at Walmart, and on the range of 4K Ultra HD and Full HD Roku TVs from several major brands sold by major retailers around the country, both online and in-store.
In addition, new Roku customers who want to try DirecTV NOW live over-the-top streaming cable and local TV services (120+ channels) for the first time will be eligible for one free month of any DirecTV Now package after purchasing and activating a Roku device until Jan. 7, 2018. The offer must be redeemed by Jan. 14, 2018.
Roku customers will receive a unique DirecTV NOW promo code after device activation.
Roku streaming devices now include the eighth version of the Roku operating system, providing access to 500,000+ movies and TV episodes through 5,000 channels. The system also includes an advance cross-channel search system to present programs, genres, actors, directors etc. helping users find where content is available for free or for the lowest price.
The system now includes The Roku Channel, a new streaming channel providing free ad-supported access to a collection of top films and programs; plus the Roku 4K Spotlight channel offering listings of content available in 4K, HDR10 and Dolby Vision HDR.
Roku devices all include a small, light remote easy to use remote control, and can also be controlled through a free Roku Mobile App for iOS or Android mobile devices, bringing such features as Private Listening, Roku Search, Roku Feed, Remote Control, Play on Roku and others.
Roku streaming media adapters available in the 2017 line include the aforementioned Roku Streaming Stick+ and Roku TVs, the Roku Express ($29.99), the Roku Streaming Stick ($49.99), which is optimized for travel and wall-mounted TVs and the Roku Ultra ($99.99), 4K Ultra HD/HDR10 supporting set-top device with additional features over the Streaming Stick+, including expandable memory for more app storage.
