Peerless-AV, a top resource for custom-installed outdoor and indoor AV entertainment electronics solutions, introduced Tuesday an 86-inch screen size in its weather-resistant UltraView 4K Ultra HD LED-LCD TV series optimized for outdoor placements.
The Peerles-AV UV862 86-inch UltraView UHD Outdoor TV (available in May at a $14,398 suggested retail price) is designed to operate in a temperature range of -22°F to 122°F and is constructed from materials that allow the television to withstand harsh climate conditions as well as corrosion and discoloration, the company said.
Peerless-AV said the 86-inch UltraView UHD Outdoor TV, which joins 49-, 55- and 65-inch versions in the UltraView series, exclusively includes a dedicated Outdoor Flat Wall Mount designed for thin-profile mounting and a secure installation.
The UV862 features 3840 x 2160 pixel 4K resolution and a brightness level “that is three times that of the average of indoor TV,” the company said. The 86-inch UltraView UHD Outdoor TV offers aluminium construction and is equipped with a High TNI panel, which allows picture visibility in direct sunlight without the risk of isotropic blackout.

The TV also includes internal stereo speakers, an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts screen brightness to the external lighting conditions,an IR extender input and an IR repeater output for flexibility with control system integration.
