Next up in this week’s procession of leaked 2014 UHDTV and HDTV prices: Panasonic. We just got word on pricing for two of the company’s new HDTV lines, and for one of the two new UHDTVs it plans to roll out this spring.

All of the sets listed below feature Panasonic’s new Life+ Screen, a refresh of the My Home Screen Smart Interface found in the company’s 2013 models.
The main item of interest here is Panasonic’s new 58-inch AX800 Series set, a THX 4K Certified model that comes with both HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2a inputs. Like other new UHDTVs coming out this year, it can decode H.265/HEVC content. It also has local dimming, though Panasonic’s specs aren’t clear about whether the LED backlight is edge-lit or full-array. Panasonic also plans to release a 65-inch AX800 series model alongside the 58-incher.
The two new Panasonic HDTV lines that we have pricing on, the AS650 and AS530 Series, appear to be set apart mainly by 3D capability in the former. Pricing isn’t available yet for the company’s other HDTV lines, the AS680 and AS640 and entry-level A400 Series, but we’ll update this post when we hear more.
