
Nikon’s KeyMission 360-degree Action Cam ($499.95 suggested retail).
Nikon introduced Monday three action cameras as part of its new KeyMission product series designed to capture on-the-fly action of “life’s missions from exciting new perspectives,” the company said.
Shipping in October, the highlight of the trio is the ruggedly constructed KeyMission 360 ($496.95 suggested retail), which is the first Nikon camera capable of full 360-degree video capture in 4K UHD resolution.
Other models also available in October include: the KeyMission 170 ($396.95) ultra-wide angle 4K UHD camera and the KeyMission 80 ($279.95), compact Full HD action camera.

Nikon’s KeyMission 360 is designed to be capture action video in a 4K UHD or Full HD 1080p video in a full 360-degree perspective.
The camera features two f/2.0 Nikkor lenses and 20-megapixel sensors that combine for high quality high-resolution video or stills from virtually every angle, without blind spots.
The KeyMission 360 has a compact and waterproof (to 98 feet) body that is also shockproof (from a drop of 6.6 feet) and freezeproof (to 14° F).
A Nikon SnapBridge 360/170 app enables photographers to shoot remotely or connect and share completely stitched full 360-degree images from a compatible smart device.
Nikon said the KeyMission 360 is compatible with a variety of optional mounts and accessories.
The KeyMission 170 is designed to capture super-wide angle video at up to 170-degrees using a F/2.8 lens and 8.3-megapixel CMOS sensor capable of 4K UHD or Full HD 1080p video capture.

The KeyMission 170 is waterproof (to 33 feet), shockproof (from 6.6 feet) and freezeproof (to 14° F). Creative tools supplied with the camera include: Highlight Tagging, slow motion recording, Time-Lapse and Loop Recording.
A built-in LCD monitor makes it easy to frame shots, play back video and change settings.
Users can shoot remotely or connect and share from compatible smart devices using the Nikon SnapBridge 360/170 app.
The KeyMission 80 is billed as a hands-free, Full HD 1080p action cam equipped with a 12-megapixel sensor and an 80-degree F/2.0 lens.
Nikon’s KeyMission 80 includes: Time-Lapse and interval timer functions that can be used to chronicle stories and events.
The camera includes a secondary, front-facing 5-megapixel camera that is said to be adept at capturing seamless selfies on the go.
It is waterproof (to 3.2 feet), shockproof (6 feet) and freezeproof (to 14° F).
The camera includes a 1.75-inch touch-screen LCD to frame shots and adjust camera settings.
