With NFL training camp activity starting to heat up and the pre-season set to kick off August 5th with the Hall of Fame Game, popular streaming app Hulu announced last week that it has added the NFL Network for subscribers to its $64.99 per month Hulu Live TV plan.
The NFL Network channel will be added to the more than 75 channels carried by the over-the-top live TV service, bringing subscribers daily league news and analysis, exclusive live NFL regular season games and original features and documentary programming. It also routinely offers a steady diet of rebroadcast games from the past week during the season, and key game rebroadcasts throughout the year.
FYI — the Hall of Fame Game, which traditionally kicks off the NFL season, this year with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys, will be carried live by Fox Network stations Thursday at 8 p.m. ET. It is typically re-broadcast later on The NFL Network, which regularly carries key game replays throughout the preseason, regular season and playoffs.

The NFL Network also carries extensive live and preliminary coverage weeks before and after the popular NFL Draft in April.
At the same time, Hulu also announced the addition of a $9.99 sports add-on service featuring six sports networks with a collection of live game scoring coverage, recent highlights, and other sports and recreational news and events. This package includes the popular NFL RedZone (with live game scoring coverage every Sunday during the NFL season — great for bettors), the Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, MAVTV Motorsports Network, TVG and TVG2 to their live TV line-up.
“With the launch of NFL Network and our new Sports Add-on, Hulu + Live TV continues to be the ultimate destination for sports fans to watch thousands of hours of live and on-demand sports programming,” stated Reagan Feeney, Hulu SVP of Live TV content programming and partnerships. “Starting today, viewers can bring even more game day action to their living room with live games and events, original shows, motorsports, horse racing and much more.”
“We are excited to bring NFL Network and NFL RedZone to Hulu + Live TV subscribers,” Hans Schroeder, EVP and COO of NFL Media, said in a statement. “One of our top priorities as a League remains broadening the distribution platforms for NFL content, and so we’re very pleased to bring our lineup of award-winning shows and live games to Hulu’s live subscribers.”
