
LG Electronics introduced Wednesday its first-ever 31.5-inch OLED monitor called the LG UltraFine OLED Pro 4K Monitor (model 32EP950-B).
The OLED monitor display, which carries a $3,999 suggested retail price, features include easy connectivity, accurate color reproduction and high quality HDR/SDR picture quality, the company said.
The LG UltraFine OLED Pro is positioned as a high-end computer monitor offering precise detail and color for various creative needs.
The monitor is certified for the VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black profile, and is said to produce advanced color, dynamic contrast, luminance, and wide color gamut coverage. The company said the display covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space as well as the Adobe RGB color spectrum.
The contrast ratio is said to be 1M:1 and achieves realistic color representation and deep black level without a backlight.
The LG Calibration Studio solution employs LG’s self-calibration sensor to automatically measure the light emitted from the OLED display and maintain the highest degree of color accuracy.

LG said the UltraFine OLED Pro supports auto-calibration, to adjust the display to viewing environment.
The OLED monitor “has more than 8 million pixels.”

The LG UltraFine OLED Pro’s connectivity options include DisplayPort and HDMI connectors, as well as USB-C with 90W power delivery and USB-A, for greater flexibilty of use with legacy adapters.
The UltraFine OLED Pro Display weighs 8.4 pounds, and features an thin profile design with adjustable height, pivot, and tilt controls.
