LG announced Tuesday that it has partnered with Apple to give LG 2016-2021 4K and 8K Smart TV owners interested in signing up to the Apple TV+ premium streaming service, the first three months free.
The announcement comes after the recent extension of support for the Apple TV+ app to “compatible” 2016 and 2017 smart TV models. Apple TV+ support was first added to 2018, 2019 and 2020 TVs last year.
The promotion will begin November 15th and will run through Feb. 20, 2022, but redemption codes will stop being issued after Feb. 13, 2022. There is a one offer per TV/Apple ID limit. The promotional offer is available in more than 80 countries where Apple TV+ is available, including the United States, LG said.
At the end of the free three-month period, subscriptions automatically renew through the Apple ID on file, and will continue until canceled. The offer cannot be combined with other free trials or Apple TV+ offers including Apple One, according to terms listed in the promotion launch statement.

The offer can be redeemed through instructions displayed in the LG Content Store or by clicking the Apple TV+ advertisement banner on the LG TV home menu, the company said.
The Apple TV+ is one of the top premium streaming services, notable for a number of popular original movies and programs. These include such shows as Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, Greyhound, See, Foundation, The Problem with John Stewart, Dr. Brain and others.
