LG Electronics’ revealed last week that its Nano IPS LCD monitor with an unusual 16:18 aspect ratio — the 28-inch DualUp Monitor (model 28MQ780) — is now available for purchase through authorized LG monitor dealers.
The Nano IPS display monitor’s unusually configured combined effective stacked dual display area creates a single screen for dual visual to free up desk-top space by eliminating the need to have double monitors for various applications where simultaneous screen views are required.
The LG 28MQ780 DualUp monitor can be purchased now at an expected street retail price of $688.61, the company said. Check the link for the latest available offer.

The Square Double QHD (2,560 x 2,880) resolution monitor has the same visible screen area as two 21.5-inch displays and has a vertical split view function that presents more screen area in one glance for multitasking.
LG said the Nano IPS technology also offers more accurate and richer color reproduction for critical graphics and color-grading work.
LG sad the display reproduces HDR content with 98% of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut recommendations.
The LG DualUp Monitor comes with a flexible, adjustable LG Ergo stand that saves space by clamping securely to desks and table tops. LG said the Ergo Stand has further evolved from the previous style that included enhanced tilting, swiveling, and extracting features.
A wider range of positions enables customizing the height, angle, and depth of the monitor for the most ergonomic and comfortable viewing position.
Monitor connections include: USB Type-C with up to 90-watts of power delivery to charge a range of devices; as well as HDMI, DisplayPort and USB 3.0.
The DualUp monitor supports 7W x 2ch stereo speakers with Waves MaxxAudio, for realistic on-board sound effects and powerful audio.
LG said the system produces deep bass to boost the quality of the listening experience.
