LG Introduces CineBeam PF610P Full HD Smart LED Projector
LG introduced Thursday the LG CineBeam PF610P Full HD LED Smart projector, offering super big-screen value for under $1000.
LG’s latest high-definition DLP-based front projector offers a compact design for easy portability and placement flexibility. It’s available now for an $849.99 suggested retail, or $766.99 from Amazon at the time of the announcement.
The unit uses a long-life four-channel LED light source offering a listed peak luminance output of 1,000 ANSI lumens and a 150,000:1 contrast ratio for big, bright pictures with good color performance. LG said the LED engine has a rated lifespan of 30,000 hours.
The single DLP microdisplay chip has a native 1920×1080 pixel resolution and the projector lists support for the HDR10 profile from supported high dynamic range content.
It also runs LG’s newest webOS 5.0 smart TV platform providing access to hundreds of the most popular streaming apps including Disney+, YouTube, Apple TV+, SHOWTIME, STARZ, Redbox, AMC Theatres On Demand, Funimation and others. It is also compatible with Apple AirPlay 2 and MiraCast allowing users to easily share videos from Apple and Android mobile devices projected on an optional big projection screen or suitable reflective surface allowing an image size of 60-to-120 inches, measured diagonally.
The LG CineBeam also offers wireless connectivity with home theater audio systems via Bluetooth, and supports Dolby Atmos audio, for more immersive and wider sound. Sound is supported by built-in 6 Watt speakers (3W+3W Stereo) or via Bluetooth to compatible wireless speakers.
The projector has a 1.195 Throw Ratio, meaning the PF610P has a wide range of placement options, even relatively close to the screen, to present high-resolution images and well-saturated colors.
The LG CineBeam Full HD LED projector includes Four Corner Keystone correction, enabling adjustment of the screen from four different points of the image to achieve accurate image proportion from a range of placement angles.
