LG Electronics kicked off a new promotion this week giving purchasers of an eligible 2020 LG OLED TV a pair of just launched “LG TONE Free true wireless earbuds” (model HBS-FN4), a $99.99 value.
In addition, the company said the offer, which will be available through August 30th, can also be combined with its concurrent TV/Soundbar savings bundle when purchased from LG.com or select LG-authorized dealers nationwide.
LG said the offer can be applied to the purchase of all 2020 OLED TVs except the 65- and 55-inch entry series BX series LG 4K OLED TV models.

The LG Tone Free true wireless earbuds deliver an extra audio dimension using Headphone Spatial Processing (HSP) technology from Meridian, LG said. The developer of high-end, precision quality entertainment acoustical systems, has been working in collaboration with LG for several years to put higher performing audio technologies in various LG AV components, including select TVs, soundbars, etc.

Meridian specializes in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology that is designed to recreate a realistic virtual soundstage comparable to the experience of some larger and sophisticated loudspeakers, while presenting clear vocals and immersive sound effects, LG said.
Featuring customized EQ sound setting modes, the LG TONE Free earbuds provide four unique presets for a tailored listening experience: Natural, Immersive, Bass Boost and Treble Boost, LG said. The earbuds also boast dual microphones for an enhanced call clarity and feature an Ambient sound mode. This built-in solution enables hearing what’s going on around the listener wearing the earbuds.
Additionally, by connecting the Tone Free earbuds to the LG TV through Bluetooth, purchasers can tap twice on the earbuds to adjust the TV’s volume and three times to change the channel, LG said.
