LGD said the 97-inch OLED.EX display on display incorporates the company’s special “Film CSO (Cinematic Sound OLED) technology, which allows the display to vibrate and generate the sound directly from the display without separate speakers. A 5.1 channel sound system is embedded into the widescreen, creating a performance that offers a cinematic level of immersion.”

LGD is also showing smaller 42- and 48-inch OLED.EX panels for gaming..

Elsewhere in the booth, LGD is show new adaptations of Transparent OLED solutions for various locations, including workspaces and stores.

A Transparent Media Art Wall utilizes 16 Transparent OLED displays organized and attached in a tile-like manner to the wall to show diverse content like digital artwork or commercial videos, LGD said.

The clear appearance of the displays is intended to help the display harmonize with different interiors. It also generates less heat than signage-type LEDs, enabling them be easily placed against a wall.
