LG Electronics officially announced pricing and availability of a pair of 2023 Sound Bars including the LG Sound Bar C (SC9) and LG SE6 models.
Both advanced new models are available now through authorized LG dealers, and are designed to match perfectly in design and performance with LG’s 2023 TV model lineup.
LG said the new Sound Bar C and SE6 present strong value by delivering a nuanced tonal experience for music, gaming and theatrical immersion, in addition to providing a range of practical convenience features.
Both sound bar models feature LG’s Triple Level Spatial Sound and Triple AI Sound Optimizer.
Regardless of media or content genre, the AI Sound Pro system analyzes the audio content and automatically applies the correct settings for the listening environment.
LG’s enhanced AI Room Calibration analyzes the environment of the room, then applies that information to the Sound Bars’ settings to improve overall balance, clarity of vocal performances, movie dialog, and accuracy of the sound image, the company said.

For gaming, both new LG sound bars also support variable refresh rate (VRR) to reduce screen tearing, and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) to eliminate lag while also permitting up to 4K and 120Hz frame rate pass-through.
When paired with an LG TV, the sound bars will support additional features including LG’s “WOW Orchestra,” which utilizes the sound bar and the TV speakers to create an expanded sound stage with improved height, depth and power.
The company’s premium home entertainment audio solutions also offer an intuitive WOW Interface to the Home Dashboard on LG TVs. This helps users easily manage the Sound Bar’s settings and share sound modes with the TV.
In addition, WOWCAST compatibility means both sound bars will easily connect with any TV equipped with an HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) and USB input, for cable-free convenience and a tidier look in the living room without any lag or loss in sound quality.
LG Sound Bar C
The 2023 LG SC9 Sound Bar C is a 400-Watt, 3.1.3-channel sound bar, that is available now at for $999. It is the first of the company’s sound bars to combine support for IMAX ENHANCED, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound applications with triple up-firing height channels.
In addition, the LG Sound Bar C ships with LG’s “Synergy Bracket,” which is designed exclusively for LG OLED C Series TVs. This is said to create “a visually harmonious aesthetic while delivering an optimal sound experience.”
The bracket effectively reduces or hides cable clutter and saves the hassle of having to drill additional holes for installation.
LG Sound Bar SE6
The LG SE6 Sound Bar is a 100-Watt 3.0-channel compact model that is available now for $450. It was designed to blend in and adapt to any interior room design style. It pairs a compact modern form factor with a sleek, woofer-less design.
It is LG’s most compact Sound Bar for 2023 yet combines a 25-millimeter tweeter and four passive radiators that produce expansive sound with powerful bass.
