LG began shipping its first 2012 models this month. LG has not provided a MAP (minimum advertised price) list to the press, so we’ve consulted our industry contacts to put together a menu of the models shipping over the next eight weeks.

We learned a number of new models currently have special promotions, either $100 instant rebates, a free Blu-ray player or a free LG sound bar with subwoofer and extra 3D glass, depending on the model. These programs a scheduled to expire March 31, 2012.  The instant rebates are reflected in the posted prices and we’ve added links to the bundled specials.

Select Sony and Samsung 2012 models fall under new no discount, one price UPP policies. LG allows its sellers to set their own discounted prices for its entire HDTV line, so you may negotiate with your local dealer for a better deal. Check out our article here .
