Improve Your TV’s Sound with One of These Awesome Soundbars
The sound that comes out of most TVs is terrible. Really terrible. Ever had to rewind to hear what a character said? That’s probably not you, that’s probably your TV’s horrible speakers.
Don’t settle for bad audio. Soundbars aren’t that expensive, and the ones listed here can improve the sound of your TV dramatically
Though low in price this soundbar and wireless sub are big on sound. Designed by high-end speaker designer Andrew Jones, this one sounds way better than it’s price implies. No HDMI, but it does have Bluetooth.
Though you’ll trade a bit in sound quality compared to the Pioneer, this Sony does have HDMI inputs (3). It’s got 330 watts total, including 120 just for the sub.
For sound and HDMI, the JBL SB400 has a 200-watt subwoofer with an 8-inch driver, which is larger and more powerful than the Sony and Pioneer. Bluetooth, learning remote, 120-watts for the bar, and more.
Ever heard of Sonos? It’s whole-home audio made easy. The Playbar is designed to work with a current (or future) Sonos system. Works great on its own, too. Lots of music streaming features.
Want surround sound, but don’t have the space for (or interest in) surround speakers? The Yamaha bounces sound off the walls in your room to create a convincing surround-sound effect. Wireless sub, HDMI inputs, and more.
The Soundscape, by Canadian speaker company Paradigm, is one of the best-sounding soundbars on the market. 350 watts spread across seven drivers, plus Bluetooth and more.
