This year Best Buy is starting its Black Friday (BF) deals at 5PM on Thanksgiving. The HDTVs and 4K UHDTVs on sale fall into three categories: house brands, derivative products from major TV brands (exclusive to Best Buy), and regular name brand TVs (i.e. Samsung, LG, Sony). The name brands are under Unilaterial Price Program (UPP). These are the most desirable products, and also the ones you can buy from your computer at home.
According to an Amazon customer service representative they will be price matching the UPP TVs on Thanksgiving. Which is to say, whatever the Black Friday deals are, Amazon will match them. Best Buy is also offering customers to purchase TVs from Best Buy online rather than waiting in front of store for hours (and hours and hours) hoping to get a ticket to secure a TV deal.
