In March, ABI Research surveyed 2024 Americans asking: Which electronics products they intend to purchase in the next six months?  HDTV came in first place with a whopping 24% intending to buy, followed by a Blu-ray player at 17%.

A number of factors make this week the ideal time to purchase a new HDTV. Sales of sets in the first four months of the year were slow, resulting in built up inventories. Set makers are offering dealers big incentives to drop prices now. Next Sunday is Fathers Day, the last big TV promotional period until the Fall selling season.

We scoured this week’s Best Buy weekly circular picking out the hottest HDTV deals. We compared the Best Buy (BB) circular prices with deals on Amazon, and found greater savings at Amazon on many  models. Below we list the BB sale price and Amazon’s better deals alongside with a link.
