All this week Amazon is offering deals on “no-name” TVs. Normally we list deals on large screens from the top manufacturers like Samsung and LG, but today we provide the lowest dollar per diagonal inch models regardless of brand. These are an alternative, if you are looking for an HDTV for a child’s room, a relative or other person on your list and want the biggest screen size available within your budget.
Because these brands often don’t offer the kind of customer support, national parts and service network of the name brands, we highly recommend a Square Trade protection plan. They are inexpensive and will give you peace of mind to be assured you can obtain a repair after the company warranty expires, taking them out of the category of “Disposable TVs”.
