
Hisense USA has delivered an update for the PX1 DLP TriChroma Laser ultra short throw projector enabling screen sizes from 90-to-130 inches, up from 100-120 inches before. It also adds support for the Dolby Vision HDR profile.
The PX1 triple-laser projector with TriChroma laser light engine now has similar screen size and focus capability to that in the PX1-PRO 4K DLP TriChroma Laser Projector and LP9G TriChroma Laser TVs, the latter two of which ship with an included 120- or 100-inch screens.
The DLP triple laser projectors all include “full coverage” support of the BT.2020 color space, for some of the most accurate, and widest color gamut pallets available to the consumer home theater display category, the company said.
Hisense added that the projectors present “true-to-life pictures and extremely vivid colors similar, if not better, than a traditional LED TV.”

The PX1, which was first introduced last May, also features Variable Focus for the enlarge projection space, the company said.
The feature flexibility is said allow users to customize their home theaters set up to their personal preferences.
Additional features include:
