Hisense announced Wednesday that its U6GR5 series 4K Hisense Roku TVs with the company’s ULED premium picture processing technologies are available now through Costco.
The Hisense U6GR5 series 4K UHD LED-LCD TVs feature Quantum Dot color enhancement technology, 4K resolution with high dynamic range (HDR) support including HDR10 and Dolby Vision profiles, Dolby Atmos 3D spatial sound support and the popularly simple-to-use Roku OS smart TV platform.
The Hisense U6GR5 series high value ULED TV series includes models in the 55-inch ($449.99 limited time Black Friday members only special) and 65-inch ($649.99 limited time Black Friday members only special) screen sizes. Both are currently available at Costco stores while supplies last. The regular manufacturers suggested retail prices are $549.99 and $749.99, respectively.
The U6GR series is said to be Hisense’s first Roku TVs to include Quantum Dot Color Enhancement Film for wide color gamut coverage. They also include the company’s premium ULED Series picture processing systems package.

These Roku TV models use a 60Hz native refresh rate LED-LCD panel with full array with local dimming (FALD) LED backlight accross 60 FALD zones.
Peak brightness is rated at mid-range 600 nits, and HDMI input with Ultra High Speed v. 2.1 features, including Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). The sets also offer an Auto Game Mode setting and enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) support for high bandwidth surround sound format compatibility.
The Hisense U6GR5 sets also work with Apple HomeKit, Alexa, and Google Assistant-enabled devices, and ship with a Roku Voice Remote to control many of the set’s functions and program searches via spoken commands.
Other features supported by this series includes: a customizable home screen, instant access to more than 250,000 free movies and TV episodes and thousands of free or paid streaming channels.. The Roku OS delivers customers’ favorite entertainment in one place – so it’s easier than ever to watch what they love, including live TV, news, sports, hit movies, popular shows and more. Fast and easy Roku search across channels return results in order by price. With AirPlay 2, customers can stream, control and share their favorite content directly from iPhone or Mac to the U6GR.
In addition to the Roku voice remote features, including Private Listening, customers can easily control their entertainment through voice with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri via HomeKit. The Roku OS receives regular free software updates delivering new features over time including an enhanced Live TV Channel Guide, Automatic Wi-Fi Network Recommendation, Automatic Game Console Configuration, among others.
