Hisense will continue to be a major sponsor of the upcoming FIFA World Cup this and is expanding that role internationally this year to help lift the China-based TV manufacturers’ share of the global market.

This year, the company joined FIFA+ in announcing the launch of an Austrailian-based program called “FIFA World Cup Daily” sponsored by Hisense that will be running every day of the event from the FIFA Fan Festival in Doha’s Al Bidda Park. The FIFA+ Daily Show will be available in the U.S. via the app which is on Android, Google TV and VIDAA OS smart TV systems.

The FIFA Fan Festival and the FIFA+ World Cup Daily are bringing together celebrities, creators, influencers and legends to recap the day’s play, according to FIFA+.

Hisense has a long-term sponsorship with FIFA, and is the official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. which begins November 21st.

Capitalizing on a massive global appeal of the FIFA World Cup event, the World Cup Daily show will offer both a global and local programming schedule, supplementing the matches and reports with original content from 32 creators, one from each competing country, the organizations said.

The show will feature broadcast team led by Caroline De Moraes (Eurosport and BBC), Michael ‘Timbsy’ Timbs (COPA90), and Rachel Stringer, former presenter for EA Sports FIFA Global Series.

With each episode running 25 minutes, the show will also make use of FIFA+’s archive, highlighting some of the greatest moments from past tournaments; feature on-set live and pre-recorded challenges; and give viewers an insider’s view of the FIFA Fan Park in Doha’s Al Bidda Park.

In related news, live streaming channels service FuboTV announced that it will be streaming all English language coverage version of the games from the World Cup Qatar 2022 in 4K resolution with HDR in partnership with Fox.

The World Cup soccer matches will be streamed in English on Fox Sports and Spanish on Telemundo. However, only the matches in English on Fox Sports will be available in 4K HDR.
