LG Smart TV owners will now have access to HBO Max’s entire catalog of programming, including an array of new series and film debuts.
According to the LG Electronics USA’s announcement, “The HBO Max app is now available on LG Smart TVs in the U.S., including its line-up of award-winning LG OLED TVs. The arrival of HBO Max on LG Smart TVs makes it easier than ever for subscribers to access the popular streaming platform’s full portfolio of premium content in one integrated experience and comes on the heels of the launch of HBO Max on LG Smart TVs across select territories in Latin America and the Caribbean in June.”
HBO Max is available in the United States for $15 per month ad-free or $10 per month with ads.
Owners of applicable LG smart TVs who subscribe to the ad-free plans only, will have access to the upcoming release in 4K Ultra HD of Warner’s “The Suicide Squad,” supporting HDR10 and the Dolby Vision high dynamic range (HDR) profiles. The movie will be available to eligible subscribers on HBO Max for 31 days starting Aug. 5, one day before it premieres in theaters.
