LG Electronics announced Friday that it is launching support for the Facebook Watch TV app on all 2014 and later webOS smart TVs.
The feature will be made available in all countries where Facebook Watch is available, the company said.
LG said the Facebook Watch TV app will enable viewers to discover and watch videos of interest based on their interests and social connections on Facebook.
The Facebook Watch TV app is available now for download at the LG Content Store.
Facebook Watch was launched in 2018 and has garnered more than 1.25 billion viewers per month. It is designed to let LG smart TV users use Facebook videos tailored to their interests and connections.
The app gathers videos related to Pages or Topics Facebook users follow, and provides recommendations based on what Facebook friends are reacting to. This can include top trending moments, favorite creators, latest news content, sports highlights, live videos, original shows and more.
