Taiwan-based consumer electronics manufacturer EZ Cast has introduced it EZCast Beam J4a Android-powered mini DLP-projector that allows users to stream TV, movies, pictures, presentations, websites, and apps to display almost anywhere.

The EZCast Beam J4a mini projector outputs 480p standard definition resolution and will accept up to 1080p input images.

The EZCast Beam J4a is available now at a $242.99 street retail. It allows users to connect with popular mobile devices, and with its WiFi adapter and Android 10 OS, download from the unit’s app store almost any popular streaming app, such as Netflix or YouTube, to smoothly and easily present a big screen image almost anywhere.

The projector features 5GHz WiFi connectivity support and built-in Bluetooth to sync up with external a Bluetooth speaker systems or use its built-in speaker.

The projected image size ranges from 30-100 inches measured diagonally, has a throw range distance range from 0.86-2.88M, and outputs up to 300 lumens peak brightness with a 5,000:1 contrast ratio.

The projector weighs 14.1 ounches (384 grams), measures 4.53 x 4.57 x 1.38 inches and is easily carried and transported for use indoors, outdoors, in remote meetings, class rooms and other applications.

The unit is powered by a long-lasting 9000mAh battery offering up to 4 hours of uninterrupted playing time per charge in eco mode.

The company said the projected DLP image is supported with integrated automatic keystone correction and auto upright portrait mode for quick-and-easy setup and use in the field.

The EZCast Beam J4A connectivity options include: HDMI in, USB, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and IR.
