The Epson 880X is available now at Epson retailers and on the Epson web site at a $629.99 suggested retail price. Espon includes a standard two-year, full-unit replacement limited warranty, and extensive aftermarket technical support.
The projector includes an Android TV streaming player with a simple-to-use remote supporting voice search with built-in Google Assistant and support for popular streaming channels including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+, HBO, YouTube and more, and expandable via built-in Chromecast wireless casting to the projector from a smart phone, tablet, or computer.
The unit also features an HDMI input and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Sound is supported with a 2-Watt built-in speaker.
Peak brightness is rated at 3,300 lumens of color and white brightness from a 210 Watt UHE lamp bulb rated at 6,000 hours normal mode/12,000 hours in Eco mode. The contrast ratio is 16,000:1.
A built-in picture skew sensor automatically analyzes the picture and corrects the vertical keystone for a square image. Operating distance is 19 feet, 6 inches. The throw range is 1.21 – 1.63.
The lens features a 1.0-1.35/f1.44 digital zoom with a 16.7mm focal length.
