Epson said this week that its “4K enhanced” PowerLite L570U, L770U and L775U projectors are now available through authorized Epson dealers.

The three new compact portable PowerLite L 3LCD front projectors are billed as offering 4K Enhancement Technology and PixAlign Camera support. Color/white brightness across the new offerings ranges from 5,200 to 7,200 lumens, and each model is said to have designed for “easy installation and creative tools.”

The company said each model offers a range of flexible applications for education to entertainment, “and facilitating more equitable and collaborative meeting experiences.”

Each model is said to offer ability to “significantly improve” content quality with 4K Enhancement where higher pixel density is necessary.

The Epson PowerLite L570U ($3,149 suggested retail), L770U ($4,549) and L775U ($4,549 suggested retail) each feature new 3-chip 3LCD microdisplays with laser light engines for low maintenance applications for business and entertainment with easy operation.

The Epson PowerLite L700U (white) and L775U (black) are billed as a lightweight and compact laser projectors with 7,000 lumens of peak color/white brightness. The laser light life expectancy for each model is rated for 20,000 hours, and includes an air filter.

The Espon PowerLite L570U (black) offers 5,200-lumens of peak color/white brightness.

All three are said to be “strikingly clear and extremely bright displays” across a range of environments including classrooms, conference rooms, museums, and beyond.

The models are all compatible with the PixAlign camera (sold separately), to enable access to advanced projection capabilities that “simplify complex multi-projector installations and make achieving sophisticated projection applications easy,” the company said

All three modes are built for durability and “offer Full HD resolution with 4K Enhancement Technology along with a virtually maintenance free, 20,000-hour laser light source and air filter.”

The projectors are capable of projecting up to a 500-inch image and can switch between a number of aspect ratios, from standard 16:10 and 16:9 to ultra-wide 16:6 and 21:9 adding increased horizontal content real estate for more collaborative hybrid meetings.

The projectors will immediately turn on when sensing a signal or by Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) over HDMI.

• Streamlined installation – wide lens shift, 1.6x optical zoom, built-in edge blending, and geometric correction tools via on-screen menu or Epson Professional Projector Tool software for Windows. and macOS.
• Versatile connectivity options including HDBaseT, 2x HDMI inputs, HDMI output, RJ-45, RS-232, and control management tools.
• Simplified operation and content sharing through auto power-on, split screen, screen sharing with Epson iProjection, and optional wireless networking with the ELPAP11 adapter.
• Customizable brightness modes that will maintain a consistent brightness level over time, or allow setting the brightness to “Extended” to help maximize the life of the laser light source.
• Using an optional PixAlign camera adds additional multi-projector tools including: blending assist for super-wide displays; simple stacking without an external PC; screen matching and auto color calibration.

Epson said it will offer special pricing for the new PowerLite L models through the company’s Brighter Futures program that provides sales and support specifically for schools.
