Anyone in need of a powerful, bright and compact laser-based video projector that are optimized for large venue applications, might want to check out Epson’s new compact Pro L10 Series models.
Epson recently started selling three models from the series, all offering interchangeable-lenses that can access up to 11 lenses from the Pro-L lens family.
These include the 6,000-lumen Pro L1060U, and the 7,000-lumen Pro L1070U and Pro L1075U models, each of which feature discreet designs to fit seamlessly into a wide range of room environments.
The new laser projector models are extensions of Epson’s Pro L-Series lineup, and include equal levels of color and white brightness, 3LCD microdisplay technology and native WUXGA resolution with 4K enhancement, Epson said.
The projectors will accept Epson Pro L-Series lenses, including the .35 throw ratio ultra short-throw lens with zero offset. It is equipped with built-in edge blending, image warping and shape overlay features.
They also offer a host of features for professional installations, including multi-projection setups.

“Building upon Epson’s leadership in 3LCD technology, the new Pro L10-Series ensure customers have incredible contrast and outstanding image quality for vibrant, eye-catching projection,” stated Ramzi Shakra, Epson America large venue product manager.
Simplified installation tools include: HDBaseT and wide lens shift for use in bigger theater environments like museums, concert halls, churches, etc. They produce high contrast BT.709 color gamut coverage, WUXGA resolution with 4K Enhancement Technology that accespts 4K source content to provide up to 4.6 million pixels onscreen.
Epson said the solid-state laser light source and air filter provide virtually maintenance-free operation for up to 20,000 hours. The projectors also support direct playback from USB storage media.
Connectivity includes support for HDBaseT and HDMI (HDCP 2.2).
Performance customization features include: adjustable brightness modes to maximize light source life and provide a consistent brightness level.
The Epson Pro L1060U, Pro L1070U and Pro L1075U projectors are available now through authorized resellers. White cabinet WXGA models – the Pro L1060W and Pro L1070W – will be available in March 2020, Epson said.
