Advanced AV equipment resource DVDO this week released a new range of IoT-enabled smart cameras, including models with facial/thermal detection, AVoIP, KVM, and extender features to address new challenges during the pandemic.
The COVID-19 crisis has created new opportunities for IoT-based cameras to engage in virtual face-to-face communication, and beef up home security.
DVDO said its new IoT-based cameras were designed to be both affordable and convenient in capturing professional-grade video for communication over today’s broadband pipelines. The cameras are suitable for video communication, monitoring, and security for the home and office.
DVDO launched three camera options including the affordably-priced Full HD 1080p C1-1 ultra-wide angle webcam ($109 suggested retail); an HD Pan/Zoom/Tilt (PTZ) C2-1 camera ($1,049) and a step-up HD PTZ C3-1 camera ($1,499) with intelligent tracking.
Each of the models support HDMI, IP connectivity and AAC audio encoding. They each ship supplied with controls, cables and mounting hardware for virtual plug-and-play operation in minutes.
