
Golf fans with 4K Ultra HDTVs and a DirecTV subscription will be able to view the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament from California’s Monterey Peninsula February 9-12th with the action beginning at 3 p.m.-6 p.m. EST each day.
AT&T’s DirecTV coverage team will be using 4K cameras positioned at holes 7, 17 and 18 on the Pebble Beach course for the PGA tour event.

Viewers will see ocean-side scenery and masterful competition in native 3840 x 2160p. The satellite TV service will also provide the “AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Experience” in HD on the DirecTV exclusive 4-screens-in-one Mix channel.
The action will be offered live on DirecTV channel 106 for subscribers with the appropriate 4K Genie box.

Meanwhile, the DirecTV HD action from Pebble Beach includes:

- 703 Featured Group – follow a group of golfers shot-by-shot
- 704 Launch Pad – watch multi-angled coverage of the long drive

Viewers also can click on an interactive app alongside the broadcast video. The app offers more information on the golfers including hole-by-hole scorecards for each round.
