Bang & Olufsen revealed that it is jumping into the 8K TV category with the introduction of a new Beovision Harmony OLED TV based on LG’s 88-inch (7680×4320 pixel) display panel.
The Beovision Harmony 88-inch TV ($49,000 retail price) features B&O’s high-end contemporary design styling and integrates artificial intelligence (AI) features to optimize picture and sound performance for the type of content being played and the conditions of the viewing environment.

B&O is boosting sound quality with an on-board three-channel sound system and built-in dual subwoofer. This can be expanded by pairing with the company’s high-performance, high-design Beolab wireless speakers. The system will enable connecting up to eight wireless Beolabs to present a 7.1-channel surround sound experience. Sound is controllable via the system’s aluminum Beoremote One.
Further demonstrating the Danish manufacturer’s emphasis on design, B&O allows users to customize the look of The Beovision Harmony using a choice of oak wood, natural aluminum, brass-tone aluminum with smoked oak, or bronze-tone aluminum with walnut facade.
The television will be coming soon to select B&O Showroom stores around the world.
