Best Buy’s latest weekly Sunday circular (May 1-7) features 2011 HDTVs from LG, Panasonic, Samsung and Toshiba . We  combed our early copy for hot  deals  and found it lackluster with most sets discounted only ten-percent. This is not too surprising when one considers Best Buy’s most recent earnings report showed weak TV sales. No doubt they are trying to make up for the lower volume with higher prices. For comparison we have listed Amazon’s better deals on the same models alongside.

In addition to deeper discounts, all listed Amazon HDTVs have free shipping.  Note: prices are correct as of posting and may change at any time, please verify with our links;  Most states do not collect sales tax on Amazon orders [with the exceptions of  CO, KS, KY, NY, ND & WA]. You always must pay sales tax when buying at any brick and mortar store. Should you buy an HDTV from on-line or from a retail store?  Learn all the pros and cons in our article here.
