Best Buy’s circular reveals 15 in store Black Friday deals on HDTVs from 19 to 60 inches. Unlike previous years, Best Buy (BB) is opening at midnight Thanksgiving night, giving all its employee a chance to leave their families and friends at home to work on the holiday.
A Few Deals?
Certainly! However the best ones by far are the early bird specials. These are the ones that folks will need wristbands to enter and those will be given out to the first ones on line at around 10 pm Thanksgiving Night. The best savings are on Sharp 42″ LCD at $199 and a 24″ LCD Dynex for $79, however the quantities are limited to a least 10 and 15 per store respectively. There other sets that are exclusive to Best Buy, making price comparisons difficult. These include a 55″ LED Samsung at $999.99 (early bird 12 per store) and a 60″ Sharp LCD for $799.99 (limited to warehouse quantities)
The next hottest deals are on Best Buy’s house brand TVs with a 55″ Dynex at $599.99 ($200 off the current price), Insignia 46″ at $499.99 ($100 below current BB price), a 46″ 720p Panasonic plasma at $399.99 ($100 off the current BB price) and a 50″ 1080p Panasonic plasma at $200 off of the current BB price). The Panasonic sales sets are limited by warehouse quantities.
The Rest-Not Very Good Deals
The 42″ LG 120Hz LED early bird special is priced today at the same $549.99 on Amazon with no lines or cold to put up with for hours as the BB deal is another early bird special with only 5 or more per store. The other deals are only $20 to $71 less than the current Amazon on line price.
