The new products, targeted at custom home cinema integration, include the AudioControl XR-4 ($3,600 suggested retail), XR-6 ($4,600) and XR-8 ($6,600) AVR models, each offering advanced 3D surround sound experiences in home cinema settings, with optimization via Dirac auto room calibration/correction. For an even higher degree of quality, the AudioControl Maestro X7 ($6,600) and Maestro X9 ($9,600) are 16-channel immeresive surround sound preamp/processors optimized for sophisticated setups from A/V integrators adept at designing powerful and flexible solutions, with support of up to 9.1.6-channel Dolby Atmos, Auro 3D, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced surround sound presentations. Inputs include 7 HDMI 2.0b ports for 4K UHD and HDR playback.
AudioControl Maestro Multi-channel Preamp/Processors
AudioControl said both Maestro preamp/processor models offer an expansive complement of inputs for connection to audio/video components. This includes seven HDMI 2.0b inputs supporting 4K UHD and HDR playback. The included Dirac Live room correction with bass management system is optimized to adjust to acoustic anomalies in almost any room environment for the most realistic performance. Other features include, ESS Sabre DACs that delivers high levels of detail and clarity and dynamic bass response.
AudioControl Maestro Series preamp/processors can be combined with AudioControl’s newest G4 Series and RS Series amplifiers, including the 7-channel Savoy G4, 5-channel Pantages G4 and 4/3/2-channel fully bridgeable Avalon G4, to achieve the most realistic home cinema experience possible. The RS Series mono amplifiers are designed to achieve room shaking bass from any subwoofer setup.
Both preamps offer easy-to-use app-based controls along with support for Google Cast, Airplay 2, aptX Bluetooth and Wi-Fi streaming connectivity options. Integrators are further supported with intuitive web-based configuration along with control drivers for many popular smart home platforms. Both models sport a new attractive, industrial design, the company said.

AudioControl Concert Series Audio/Video Receivers
AudioControl’s Concert Series AVRs are packed with advanced performance features, including in the Concert XR-6 and Concert XR-8 models, the addition of AURO 3D surround sound. Other advanced features include six channels of user-configurable outputs that will accommodate, for example, high-pass subwoofers or height channels. The Concert Series AVRs feature AudioControl’s new industrial design and 16-channels of output, integrated web-based configuration, intuitive app-based control, Google Cast, Airplay 2, aptX Bluetooth and Wi-Fi streaming connectivity so that they can become the perfect entertainment hub for everyone in the home.
The Concert XR-8 model supports a 9.1.6-channel surround configuration using HDMI 2.0b connectors, up to 16-channels of output and 7-channels of high-current class H amplified output at 200 watts into 4 ohms.
The Concert XR-6 model is also a 9.1.6-channel with HDMI 2.0b ports, up to 16-channels of output and 7-channels of class AB amplified output at 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms.
The Concert XR-4 is a 7.1-channel model with HDMI 2.0b ports, up to 11-channels of output and 7-channels of class AB amplified output at 60 watts per channel into 8 ohms.
