Fresh off a triumphant night at the Oscars, director Guillermo del Toro’s acclaimed box office smash The Shape of Water will arrive on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD discs March 13th, 21st Century Fox Home Entertainment revealed Monday.
The film, which earned four Oscars Sunday night for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Music Score and Best Production Design, is billed as an “otherworldly fairy take set against the backdrop of Cold War-ear America.”
The movie deals with Elisa (Sally Hawkins), a lonely worker in a secret government laboratory. Trapped in a life of isolation, Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment. Other members of the cast include: Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stuhlbarg and Doug Jones.
The film was first released Feb. 27th to digital streaming/download format. It is available today through the Movies Anywhere content locker.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray a version will support DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, English Descriptive Audio 5.1, Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1, and French DTS 5.1. It is offered in widescreen 1.85:1 format.
The Full HD Blu-ray version will support English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1; English Descriptive Audio 5.1; Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1, and French Dolby Digital 5.1. It is also offered in widescreen 1.85:1.
The DVD will be available in widescreen 1:85:1 and will support English Dolby Digital 5.1; English Descriptive Audio 5.1; Spanish Dolby Digital 2.0 and French Dolby Digital 2.0.
On disc, audiences will be treated to a host of special features including:
