New 2023 OLED TVs are now available from Samsung and LG, bringing some of the brightest advances the self-emitting technology has yet produced.
Samsung has been spotted testing pricing moves for very brief moments on its 2023 S90C and S95C Quantum HDR OLED models, and while the spot offers don’t last long, we’ve included links to models below so you can check for yourself if anything pops up so you can pounce.
Samsung’s variation on OLED technology combines quantum dot color converts to produce Red and Green hues from the Blue self-emitting OLED light to produce a highly accurate wide color gamut with full color volume luminance. The OLED light can be switched off at the pixel level to produce nearly pure black.
Meanwhile, LG is now offering is range of 2023 White OLED-based 4K and 8K UHD models including the new “G3 evo” series that brings new “Micro Lens Array” technology that boosts peak brightness well above 1000 nits while maintaining deep inky black at near zero nits for some of the wide contrast ratios yet seen in consumer displays.
The company has also raised brightness and performance in step-down C3 and B3 series OLED models to also bring enhanced performance and sound performance features, along with advanced gaming capabilities

Samsung 2023 Quantum HDR Hybrid OLED TVs
Quantum HDR TVs, also known as QD-OLED, use hybrid quantum dot/blue OLED panel technology to that uses nano-sized Red and Green quantum dot converters to produce a wide, bright and accurate color gamut for natural-appearing images.
