I recentley purchased a 40" flat panel screen t.v., After hooking up my dvr,a/v reciever, and t.v.to a monster surge protector. The problem is when I turn off my light switch in my dining room in some cases it shuts down my t.v. and dvr unit. Please tell me what could be causing this problem. thanks

What do you think of the Vizio line? I own the 1080p 47" Vizio currently selling for 1499.00 when I got it it was 1699.00, do you think for the features and quality it makes for a good deal. I currently use it for gaming both XBOX@1080p via HDMI and the PS3@1080p also via hdmi. Both movies look great BRDisk & HD-DVD but for some reason my HDDVDs look a hint more richer and nice blacks and whites. The BRDisks look outstanding as well but just a little noise. both units are on stands on each side of tv and not enclosed in anything.

On three seperate Direct TV HD boxes in three seperate households I have tried to use the HDMI cable. In each case I get great picture but no sound. I got to componant with the associated audio inputs and I am a-ok. I must be doing something really dumb. Any thoughts?

For someone in the market for a plasma would you still recommend the Hitachi Director’s Series 42HDX99 as the top choice or is one the 2007 plasmas superior.

Thanks,

The 2007 Hitachis have been changed and have been de-featured . The 2006 42HDX99 is a great HDTV and if you could find one at a good price I would recommend it
