It&#039;s clear plasma won&#039;t be around forever, but LCD manufacturers will be dropping out of the market this year too.

The article doesn&#039;t jive with facts either, display search&#039;s numbers show that plasma was the only display technology in 2008 to show an INCREASE in sales y/y, largely due to the price advantage. If you look at the price Panasonic currently have a 50&quot; plasma for (new model) it&#039;s clear that plasma will continue to win the pricing battle.</description>
